
Series of hand-embroidered paintings that use traditional cross-stitching pattern (as it is normally used in the Tortilleros, and handkerchiefs found as decorative and utilitarian objects in Mexican households). The imagery used for this artwork speaks of an increase of militarization of the State in Mexico, and addresses how this public policy has affected spaces as intimate as the home.
